GLA is positioning its partners for the growth potential of the Hemp derived CBD market, while also preparing for continued expansion and inevitable collapse of marijuana prohibition. With the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill making Hemp an Agricultural Commodity, GLA has accelerated its development of its Agribusiness, Life Science, Business Service and Brand business units. Strengthening the foundational underpinning of the Holding Company, late in 2018, GLA secured the majority control of a Colorado CBD Factory with 100,000 SF of greenhouse and an adjacent 20+ acre outdoor cultivation. The CBD Factory will deploy 1M Hemp Clones in 2019, increase extraction capabilities from 1,200 lbs of biomass a week to 100,000 lbs a week, and expand the existing manufacturing into an FDA compliant manufacturing facility. This strategic move secures GLA’s supply chain, and makes sure its Beauty & Wellness, Functional Pet, Functional Beverage and Snack Brands have a ready, predictable and consistent high quality CBD.
